A musician and a painter tell a single improvised story through their art. "A Story in Three Parts" is centered on a performance between improvisational cellist Kathy McTavish and silk painter Lee Zimmerman at the Play Ground. During the performance, Lee will create three, eight feet by four feet paintings using dyes on silk while Kathy guides the images with her music. This will be accomplished in about one hour. A reception will follow the performance where the art that was created on the stage will be auctioned off. More information on the auction is available HERE. January 29, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets: $10 at the door or online
